Once upon a time, there was a forest…

Do you like forests ? May I ask what is a forest?  It has hundreds of definitions.

I learned forest from fairy tales when I was a little girl. All kids love fairy tales, which always start or develop from a forest. Once upon a time, there was a forest…

I love forests and I always go into a forest if time allows. A forest is a large area dominated by trees that provide us oxygen. The forest is an ecosystem; their interactions with soil, minerals, water, and the atmosphere. The forest is part of Nature and human beings can’t survive without forests.

What do you do during a forest walking? take pictures? listen to birds? look for animals? sing a song? I will be very relaxed and try to appreciate the surroundings. Each forest has a unique mix of plants, animals, and terrain. I will miss what I see, smell, hear and feel in a forest after I back to daily life. The gracious waving of trees along the stream filled me with joy and happiness. Temperate forest trees are indeed beautiful and amazing.
